Today, I have an exciting and unique guest to introduce – a monkey made entirely out of fruits! This Fruit Monkey is easy to make and would make a great centrepiece for any kids party.
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 2 bananas
- 1 melon slice
- 1 kiwi
- 2 apples
- 1 orange
- 2 red grapes
- skewers & toothpicks

Cut the top of the pineapple.
Make the head out of a round melon slice that’s about 2.5 cm (1’’) thick.
Attach the melon slice to the pineapple using two big skewers. It’s best to make the holes in the pineapple first using the skewers and insert them half way through and then, push the melon slice through.
Make the eyes out of two round apple slices and a grape cut in two. Attach them to the melon face using two toothpicks.
Make the ears out of two kiwi slices and attach them to the melon head using two medium-sized skewers.
Make the mouth out of an orange and the nose out of half a grape.
