Baking fish is extremely easy and it can be prepared and cooked in no time. My husband is a BIG fan of salmon so I wanted to make him happy today. I bought some fresh salmon from St. Lawrence Market and prepared Roasted Salmon Steaks for our dinner using this great recipe. We served it with Roasted Vegetables.
Time: 40 min, Prep: 10 min. Cook: 30 min.
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon steaks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp black peppercorns, freshly ground
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- salt to taste
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1 tsp olive oil
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine ground pepper, minced garlic, paprika, and salt. Add lemon juice and olive oil.
Coat the salmon steaks with the dressing and let them marinate for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the steaks in a baking pan and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for about 20 minutes and then remove the aluminum foil. Place the salmon under the broiler for 4-5 more minutes on each side to nicely roast the salmon and give it a crisp texture.
Enjoy!
