Ingredients
- 1 head of Boston lettuce
- 1 head of red lettuce
- 1 radish bunch
- 4-5 green onions
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- salt to taste
- one of the following based on your preference:
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice – provides a bright and citrusy flavour
- 2-3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar + a pinch of sugar – offers a tangy and slightly sweet taste
- 2-3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar – has a rich, sweet, and slightly tangy taste
Note that you can also add other ingredients like cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, or crumbled feta cheese to customize the salad to your liking.
Directions
Wash the Boston lettuce and red lettuce thoroughly. Tear or cut the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
Slice the green onions and radishes and add them to the bowl.
You can prepare the dressing by whisking together in a small bowl the lemon juice or vinegar, olive oil, and salt. Or, you can just drizzle the oil and lemon juice or vinegar directly over the salad and sprinkle the salt.
Toss gently to coat all the ingredients.
