These edible roses are not only visually impressive, but they’re also a tasty addition to any party platter or charcuterie board. Get ready to impress your guests with a stunning and unique centrepieces that will leave them in awe!
Ingredients
- ham slices
- pork loin slices
- provolone cheese slices
- a bunch of green onions
- toothpicks for securing
- a ribbon for the bow
Make sure the ham/cheese/pork loin slices are very thinly cut. Get as many slices as you’d like. I used 6-8 slices per big rose and made a few small ones with 3-4 slices to place them around the outer edges of the bouquet.
Directions
Simply arrange the slices in a row, overlapping them about a third. Then fold the entire row of slices in half and roll it up starting from one end to the other into a semi-tight roll. If you roll them super tight they will look more like a rose bud.
Push a toothpick through, horizontally, to hold all the slices together.
Cut the green part of the onions to make the stems. Arrange the roses and the stems on a serving platter to form a bouquet.
Lastly, make a bow out of a ribbon to make it look extra pretty 🙂.
