Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 8-10 strawberries
- 1 lime
- 1 kiwi
- 2 blueberries
Directions
Watch this short video to see how to make the fruit owl:
Cut two thin lime slices to make the eyes. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lime pieces.
Cut the banana into slices and brush them with lime juice to keep them from turning brown.
Arrange the banana slices on a platter, kind of in a number 8 shape.
Wash and cut the strawberries into small slices. Note that for the owl’s feet, tail feathers and ear feathers (plumicorns) you need bigger strawberry pieces.
Use the small strawberry slices to make the outline of the owl.
Make the eyes using the two lime slices and two blueberries.
Make a twig out of kiwi pieces and place these under the owl’s feet.
Enjoy!
