This Christmas Tree Fruit Tray is very quick and easy to make for your guests this holiday season. It’s a healthy snack and I can assure you everything will be devoured in minutes!
Ingredients
- Granny Smith apples
- raspberries
- blueberries
- pineapple slice
- kiwi slice
- lemon juice
- a small star cookie cutter
The quantities depend on how big or small you’d like to make the Christmas tree fruit tray. For a 12” (30 cm) tall Christmas tree, you need 1 apple, 12-15 raspberries, 15-20 blueberries and the juice from half a lemon.
Directions
Wash the apple, raspberries and blueberries and let them dry out or pat them dry with a paper towel.
Cut the apple in thin slices. Brush lemon juice on each slice to prevent them from turning brown / oxidizing.
Arrange the apple slices on a tray or serving platter to create the outline of the Christmas tree. Place the grapes inside the tree. Place blueberries and raspberries on top to look like Christmas ornaments.
Use the star cookie cutter to cut a star out of the pineapple slice.
Cut a rectangle out of the kiwi slice to make the tree trunk. Don’t peel the kiwi as the fuzzy texture and brownish colour make the tree trunk look more realistic.
