Who’s in the mood for tacos? I don’t know about you but yesterday hubby and I were really craving for some beef tacos. And why go to a restaurant when it’s so easy to make them in your own kitchen! So, as soon as I got home from work, I headed straight to the kitchen and our dinner was ready in just 20 minutes. This recipe is great for busy people or for one of those days when you just don’t feel like spending too much time in the kitchen.
Time: 20 min, Prep: 10 min. Cook: 10 min.
Servings: 3 (2 tacos/person)
Ingredients:
- 6 taco shells
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100 ml water (1/2 cup)
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp chili sauce
- ½ tsp paprika
- a pinch of salt
- 100 g grated cheddar cheese
- 2-3 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato
p.s. I’ve only used the taco shells from the kit in the picture.
Directions:
Finely chop onions and mince garlic cloves. Combine beef, onion, garlic, flour, water and chili sauce in a bowl. Season with paprika and salt. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Add the beef mixture into a large skillet over medium heat and mix well with a wooden spatula. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until browned.
Heat the taco shells in the oven for about 5 minutes.
Spoon 2-3 tablespoons in each shell. Spread some shredded lettuce and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Arrange 1-2 tomato slices on top of each taco.
Serve the tacos immediately while still warm.

Poti folosi si foi de shaorma sau foi de tortilla in loc de tacos. Sa-mi spui daca v-au placut 🙂
