Ingredients
- 375 g (3/4 – 1 lb) bacon strips
- 375 g (3/4 – 1 lb) small breakfast sausages
You will also need a few toothpicks to secure the bacon to the sausages while they cook.
Directions
Preheat a pan over medium heat. You can also grill them on a griddle or flat-top grill.
Take a slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around one breakfast sausage, starting at one end and spiraling it to the other end.
Secure the ends with half a toothpick.
Repeat this process for each sausage, ensuring the bacon is firmly secured around the sausage.
Cook them for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. The bacon should become crispy and golden brown, and the sausages should be cooked through.
Once cooked, remove the bacon-wrapped sausages from the grill and transfer them to a serving plate lined with paper towels. This will help absorb any excess grease.
Remove the toothpicks.
