I’ve been making (too many) layered smoothies lately, so many that I started creating this collection of beautiful and healthy layered smoothie recipes from some of my favorite food bloggers. I love layered smoothies not only because they look fabulous but also because you can enjoy the various flavors one layer at a time. Plus if they look pretty they taste better, right?! Even your kids will have more fun drinking their smoothies this way… good opportunity to get more raw fruits and vegetables into their diet (wink, wink)!
All you need is to spend a few extra minutes to make a boring one-color smoothie look amazing and eye-catching! The trick to the perfect layered smoothie is to start your layers with the heaviest/denser blend at the bottom of the glass. This way your layers will stay nicely separated for a longer time.
I hope you’ll enjoy this round-up of delicious and amazingly-looking layered smoothies!
